Bal Thakarey-Unseen and Rare Pics

You may love him or hate him, but can't ignore him. Some people consider him as the person who invented hate politics in post independent era and some consider him as the savior of Maharashtrians first and Hindus next. Some consider him as the person who provided employment to unorganised goondas of mumbai in 60s and 70s and mumbai business community considers him as the man who saved them from the trade unions. Very few politicians in India has the guts to speak so tough like him.

He is the leader who commanded people by power but not position. There is one incident that took place in 70's. Dhara was the cooking oil brand used by many mumbaikars at that time. Once they increased the prices steeply. Few people came to him with a request to pressure the company to reduce the prices. Instead of asking the company to reduce prices he asked mumbaikars to stop buying Dhara oil through his media, Marmik. With in a month the sales of Dhara reduced drastically in Mumbai. And the company had to reduce its prices without any choice. This is the best example to show his command on masses.
